What do you want to try? What you don't want under any circumstances. What areas of the body are left out. And what word are you going to use to stop.

Regarding the safe word, the one that works is one that does not fit the situation, because expressions like "no" or "stop" can be part of the game. Many couples use a three-tier system: one word for "slow down," another for "stop completely." And an alternative non-verbal signal is always needed in case the mouth is busy, which is usually releasing an object held in the hand.

And it is not improvised with material that is not designed for this: belts, cables and zip ties concentrate pressure in a way that no accessory manufactured for use does.

The after matters as much as the during

When finished, release slowly and in the reverse order to which you tied. Gently rub areas that have been under pressure to restore circulation.

Next comes the aftercare: water, shelter, calm physical contact and a bit of conversation. It is not an optional addition. An intense session produces a physiological drop when the adrenaline drops, and that time is what cushions it. Comment on what has worked and what hasn't while it is recent, because it is the best information for next time.
