Contraindications: read them first

This category is the only one in the catalog where a list of exclusions comes first, because there are situations in which the risk is real and non-negotiable.

How a circuit works

Electricity needs two points: it leaves through one and returns through the other. That's why everything in this category comes in pairs, and why a single electrode does absolutely nothing.

The usual formats are adhesive electrodes, which are placed on the skin; conductive rings and bands, which surround an area; and bipolar insertable pieces, which have the two contacts integrated into the same piece and are the easiest to use well.

The three control variables

If you notice a sharp sting in a specific spot, don't increase the intensity: lower it, remove it, add more lubricant and reapply. Puncture always means insufficient contact.

Session and care

Always place the electrodes with the device turned off and at the minimum level. Gradually increase and limit the session to twenty or thirty minutes, because the muscles fatigue the same as with any exercise. Turn off before removing anything.

The conductive silicone electrodes are cleaned with warm water and neutral soap, drying completely; Adhesives have a limited life and are replaced when they lose grip.
