Removal is where beads earn their reputation. Pulling slowly gives a distinct, rippling sensation as each sphere passes. Pulling quickly is unpleasant and can cause small tears, so this is not the moment to hurry. Many people find removal during or just before orgasm the most compelling part.

You do not have to insert the whole strand. Two or three beads is a complete experience in itself, and there is no benefit to going further than is comfortable.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Warm water and a Toy Cleaners & Essentials or unscented soap after every use, working carefully into the gaps between spheres where residue collects. This is the most awkward shape in the anal category to clean properly and the most important to get right.
