Cock Rings, Straps & Cages

Cock Rings, Straps & Cages

This collection brings together three families that share a shape but pursue opposite objectives: rings that seek firmness, straps that provide support and jaulas de castidad that seek just the opposite, preventing erection. It is advisable to distinguish them before buying, because the criteria for size and time of use change completely for each one.

Rings and straps

A ring slows down venous return and keeps the erection firmer. The size is calculated by measuring the circumference at the base when erect, dividing by 3.14 and subtracting 10% or 15%: a circumference of 12 cm corresponds to about 35 mm in diameter. The limit of use is twenty or thirty minutes at a time, without exceptions. The entire explanation and range is at Cock Rings.

Penis straps and harnesses distribute pressure between the base and testicles instead of concentrating it in a single point. They are usually adjustable, which solves the problem of exact size, and many are more comfortable than a rigid ring. They are in Penis Straps and Rings & Sleeves.

Chastity cages: size is everything

There is no room for improvisation here, because a cage is worn for hours or days and an incorrect fit causes real problems. Two measures define it:

  • El anillo base. It surrounds the penis and testicles, and is the piece that holds the whole. It should allow a finger to pass between the ring and the skin without excessive looseness. Almost all cages are sold with three or four rings of different diameters precisely because getting it right the first time is rare.
  • La longitud del tubo. It is measured in a flaccid state, and should be slightly below that measurement, not above. A long tube allows partial erection and rubbing; a short one compresses.

The specific range is in Penis Cages.

Safety in prolonged use

These are the signs that require immediate removal: numbness, color change towards bluish or purple tones, persistent cold in the area, pain that does not subside when readjusted. None of them are a normal part of the process.

Hygiene is the other critical point. With continued use, daily cleaning of the inside of the cage and the skin is mandatory, and that is why models with wide openings are much more practical than closed ones, although they seem less attractive. Removing the cage completely every few days to wash and check the skin is sensible practice, and any lock or lock should have a spare key accessible at all times.

Stainless steel is durable and non-porous but it is heavy, and the weight is noticeable after hours. Polycarbonate and resin are lightweight and discreet under clothing, which is why they work best in everyday use. Silicone is the most comfortable to start with.

Lubricant and cleaning

The water-based lubricant makes it easy to attach and remove any of these parts and is compatible with silicone, steel and polycarbonate. It's at Water-Based. For cleaning, warm water and neutral soap, or specific Toy Cleaners & Essentials product, with complete drying before replacing.

The three families, compared

They share a shelf and do not share a goal. The maximum time column is what makes the practical difference.

Piece Objective Maximum time Key measure Ideal for
Elastic ring Firmness 20 to 30 minutes Inner diameter First purchase
Rigid ring Firmness and weight 20 minutes Exact inner diameter Who already knows their size
Double ring Base and testicles 20 minutes Two diameters Distributed support
Adjustable strap Adjustable fastening 20 to 30 minutes Strap length Fine tuning
Chastity cage Prevent erection According to experience, with breaks Base ring and length Control practice

Models with motor are in Vibrating Cock Rings, and sets of various sizes in Cock Ring Sets.

How to take measurement

For a ring, measure the circumference at rest with a strip of paper, divide by 3.14, and subtract about 10% to get the working diameter. With elastic silicone there is room; with steel there is not, and that is where it is advisable to measure twice.

In a cage, the two numbers that matter are the diameter of the base ring and the length of the body. The base ring is chosen like the normal ring, and the length has to be loose at rest: a short cage does not reduce anything, it only compresses and forces it to be removed.

Frequently asked questions

How long can you wear a ring?

Twenty or thirty minutes as a general reference. It is removed immediately if numbness, color change or loss of sensitivity appears, and it is not used while asleep under any circumstances.

How do you choose the size?

Measuring the circumference at rest with a strip of paper and dividing by 3.14. With elastic silicone, a little less than the result; with metal, the exact number.

What is the difference between a ring and a strap?

The ring is a closed hoop with a fixed diameter, so the size has to be correct. The strap adjusts with a buckle or clasps and forgives measurement errors, although it distributes the pressure in a different way.

Is it safe to sleep with a cage?

Not at first. Prolonged use requires gradual adaptation, daily hygiene and removal at any sign of chafing, color change or loss of sensitivity.

How are these parts cleaned?

Warm water and neutral soap after each use, paying attention to the joint between ring and body. Steel and silicone can be thoroughly cleaned; the painted finishes, no.
