Types compared

Latex, polyisoprene and polyurethane

Latex is the reference material: elastic, reliable and the most studied. Its limit is allergies and its total incompatibility with oils. Polyisoprene is a synthetic rubber without the proteins that cause latex allergies, with a very similar feel and good elasticity. The right lubricant

With latex and polyisoprene, water-based or silicone-based. Never oil, Vaseline, hand cream, or coconut oil: they degrade the latex in minutes and cause exactly the failure that the condom was supposed to prevent. With polyurethane, the oil is compatible. Placement and frequent errors

Open the envelope along the serrated edge, never with your teeth or scissors. Squeeze the tip with two fingers to expel air before unrolling, because trapped air is the most common mechanical cause of breakage. Unroll to the base on the already erect penis. When finished, hold the base when removing and do so before losing your erection. One condom per act and none reused. And never two at the same time: the friction between them breaks them.

Conservation

Heat and pressure are the two enemies. A purse carries both, so it's not a good place to keep them for more than a while.
